Regen ReNu is a favorite gadget for traveler the cool solar powered iPod/iPhone charger which could charge iPhone/iPod for about 9 hours in direct sunlight and 20 hours in indirect sunlight. This charger combined a solar panel and battery pack that was attaches to the back of an iPod/iPhone dock or USB device for easy access to solar power. When you want to charge the panel, just remove it and place it near sunlight! Regen solar panel was priced for about $200 and its won't available until next year, but you can preorder this stuff on the company website.
