Book House, while hearing that name I’m sure you’ll get any imagination about this words, yeah its a private house that win the JDC Design award and built on 2005. Designed by Tokyo based architect Nendo its something unique house design which using bookshelves to clad the exterior walls. The main concept is how to combine the house and library to protect the privacy of its inhabitants. Semi-transparent FRP divides the interior and exterior spaces, allowing soft light to filter in between the bookshelves during the day, and letting the light leak out at night. Light creates a connection between inside and outside. Its a great house which perfect for books lover or librarian.
